Biographical Information

John Eisenlord was born on the old Eisenlord farm about two miles west of Fort Plain, on August 23, 1795. In 1835, Eisenlord organized St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church at Canajoharie and served as its pastor. John died at Fort Plain, November 17, 1880.
