Born near Middletown, NY in 1798. He taught at a public school in Goshen for a short while and then became principle of the academy at Montgomery for a year. In 1831, he opened a private female boarding-school and taught education until his death in 1855..

From Hebron, NY and a member of the Philomathean Society. He was pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Washington, Georgia and died 1827.

Whiting, Marshall
Born in Holliston, Massachusetts. He was pastor of St. John's Church in Onondaga. He was also principle of the Male Department of the Astoria Institute in NY and died in 1853.

Whiting, William B.
A resident of Lenox, Massachusetts and studied law. He was a postmaster for several years and later became the auditor of an eastern railroad.

Born 1810 and studied law before later studying theology. He was devoted to the church and die din 1823.

Yates, John Austin
Born in East Hartford, Connecticut in 1801. He was a professor of Ancient Languages and Moral Philosophy and Logic at Union College. He died in Schenectady in 1849.

Young, John
Born 1798 and from Springfield, NY. He was a member of the Philomathean Society and studied of the ministry with the intent of becoming a missionary. He died in Vincennes, Indiana in 1825.

A resident of Troy, NY and studied in the Episcopal Theological Seminary. He died in 1824 in Skaneateles, NY.
