A resident of New York City, was a member of the Philomathean Society. Private, 2nd Regiment Artillery, New York Volunteers under Captain John V. B. Varick's Company during the War of 1812. He died on May 24, 1858.

Brodhead, Jacob
Clergyman, born in Ulster County, May 14, 1782, son of Charles W. Brodhead of Marbletown, a captain of grenadiers in the Revolutionary Army. Graduated Union College in 1801; was a tutor there from 1801-1803, and then became pastor of the Reformed Dutch Church at Rhinebeck, NY. Died in Springfield, Massachusetts, June 6, 1855.

Associate judge of Court of Queen's Bench. Non-graduate of 1801, resident of Niagara, was a member of the Philomathean Society. Died in 1870.

Cramer, John
A Representative from New York; born in Waterford, NY, May 17, 1779; attended the rural schools and was graduated from Union College in 1801; studied law, was admitted to the bar, and commenced practice in Waterford, NY; presidential elector on the Democratic ticket of Jefferson and Clinton in 1804; appointed a master in chancery in 1805; member of the State assembly in 1806 and 1811; died in Waterford, June 1, 1870.

Frey, Henry I.
A resident of Canajoharie, NY, was a member of the Philomathean Society. Read law in the office of Peter Van Schaack in Kinderhook (and married his daughter). He practiced his profession till the time of his death. He lived in Palatine Bridge, NY.

Haight, Sylvanus
Born at Fishkill, NY, July 22, 1776. Non-graduate of 1801, was a member of the Philomathean Society. Pastor of the Congregational Church of Wilton, Connecticut, December 3, 1805. Died April 6, 1864.

Lush, Samuel Stringer
Born October 20, 1783. Member of the bar in Albany. Member of the State Legislature 1825; 1826 and 1830. Died June 21, 1841.

Schenck, Henry
Charged with drinking to excess and riotous conduct at the house of Simeon Goodman in July of 1800. Class of 1801 at Columbia College. Died July 26, 1844.

Smith, Samuel Blair
Son of Rev. John Blair Smith. Entered the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1805, receiving the degree of Doctor of Medicine in 1807. He was a physician in the Medical Corps of the US Army from 1816-1834. Appointed Post-Surgeon on November 12, 1816, and later Assistant Surgeon of the Army from June 1, 1821 until his death on November 28, 1834.

Westbrook, Cornelius Dupuy
Dr. Cornelius Dupuy Westbrook was a widely known preacher, connected with the old Reformed churches of Fishkill and Peekskill. He was born at Rochester, Ulster Co., N.Y., in May,1782; graduated from Union College, 1801; studied under Dr. John B. Romeyn; was licensed by the Classis of Albany, 1804; was Tutor at Union, 1803-5; Pastor at Fishkill, 1806-30; elected Trustee of Reformed Church and D, D. ,1829; first editor of the Christian Intelligencer, 1830-3; Rector of the Gr. Schools at New Brunswick, 1833-6. Trustee, Rutgers College, 1829-58.He died at Kingston in 1858.

Born October 29, 1783. Served as district attorney, county judge and attorney-general of the state. Died August 15, 1805 at Albany.

Younglove, John
Native of Cambridge, NY. He graduated Union College in 1801; was Tutor in the college from 1802 to 1805; Pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Brunswick, Rensselaer County, where he died in 1828.
