Abstract
The reaction of methyl magnesium chloride and methyl magnesium iodine with silicohloroform gave a mixture of methyl dichlorsilane, dimethyl chlorsilane, trimehtyl silane, and an unfientified high boiling liquid which gave no chlorine on analysis.
