Abstract

As I began to conceptualize my thesis I looked at the economic and cultural development of the United States, and the difference between the ideals of Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton. With an understanding of democracy and the United States I looked to current news and events. From this research, I developed a strong sense of where America began and the history leading up to today.
