Abstract
Code Art is a collection of prints, animations, and interactive pieces developed during the fall and winter terms. The project was developed as a way to fuse the two areas of study for my interdepartmental major of Computer Science and Visual Arts. The goal was to create a body of work that used the power of computers as the primary medium for generating art. All of the pieces were created using computer programming. An open source language called Processing was used for the development of each piece which were rendered out as images, animations, and interactive displays. Final edits and composition were done in Photoshop.
