Femicide in Latin America

For my project I am going to look at femicide in Latin America and how this affects the human security of women. I will do this by looking at femicides in different Latin American countries and how efforts to eliminate them help improve the human security of women which is reflected in things like more representation in certain jobs. This will require looking at countries where rates of femicide are higher in comparison to countries where they are lower and looking at what may be contributing to these different rates. I will also look at factors that contribute to the frequency of femicides such as impunity and stay-at-home as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
