Funding and other support for the digitization of Union College Chemistry Department theses from 1924-2007 provided by Betsy and John Nickles (Class of 1960) in memory of James Emmons Anderson (Class of 1960).
Anderson (1938-2016) graduated from Union with a B.S. in Chemistry, earned a Ph.D. from Princeton University, and worked at the Ford Motor Company's Research Laboratory for 37 years. He authored many scientific articles and holds numerous U.S. patents.
