Born at Pine Plains, NY, February 5, 1801. Non-graduate of 1820, later graduated from Yale and studied law. Died September 22, 1870.

Sanford, Joseph
Born in Vernon, VT on February 6, 1796. He became a pastor at the Second Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. Died December 25, 1831.

Sears, Jacob C.
Born at Montgomery, NY in 1798. He became a Presbyterian pastor and received the degree of D.D. from Rutgers College. Died in 1881.

Seward, William H.
Born in Florida, NY, on May 16, 1801. He became a lawyer and late a State Senator. He helped to enlarge the Erie Canal.

Sherman, Isaac
Born in 1797 in Vermont. Died April 17, 1869. He was a lawyer and member of the Council of Safety.

Starkweather, George A.
Born May 19, 1794. He was elected by the faculty of Union as a Phi Beta Kappa. He practiced law and later was admitted to the supreme court. Died in Cooperstown, NY, October 13, 1878.

Stebbins, George
Born July 15, 1796. Ordained as a Presbyterian pastor and later became a farmer. Died in 1891.

Stewart, Robert S.
Entered as a sophomore from Pennsylvania in 1815. Dismissed in November 1816 for giving false certificate of character.

Tracy, William Swan
Born February 4, 1799 in Connecticut. Non-graduate of 1820. He settled in Hamilton County, Ohio.

Vanderveer, Ferdinand H.
He was born in NJ in 1800. Ater graduating from Union College he studied theology at New Brunswick Seminary and became a reverend. Died July 10, 1881.

Van Vechten, Jacob Ten Broeck
Born in Albany on May 10, 1801. He served as Judge Advocate General of New York State. Died June 20, 1841.

Wright, John C.
He was a judge in Schenectady, NY. Died in Esperance, Schoharie County, on August 9, 1843.
