Martin Fitch was born in Salem, NY on June 9, 1793. A graduate of Middlebury College, he studied medicine and surgery under Dr. Valentine Mott, of New York. He died on June 1, 1816.

Born February 19, 1789 in Hudson, NY. He was a lawyer and Justice of the Peace in Johnstown, NY, from 1816 to 1868. He died on July 28, 1875.
