Biographical Information

President of the Philomathean Society. Quartermaster in a regiment in the War of 1812, served as Aid on the staff of General Brown and was Military Secretary and Confidential Aid to Governor DeWitt Clinton. He was later appointed judge of the county and Major General in the Militia of the State.
