Biographical Information

For 26 years was a leading member of the Albany Bar which led him to the Supreme Court, Court of the Correction of Errors and the Court of Appeals. Regarded impartially as one of the three most prominent lawyers in New York State from 1837 until the adoption of the Code of Procedure.
