Biographical Information

President of the Board of Trustees of Newburgh 1813-1815. His father Rev. Wheeler Case, was one of the poet preachers of the war; he, himself was a lawyer; was admitted to the bar in 1802; was Member of Congress 1819-21, and Surrogate 1823-27; He erected the old curb-roof house on Renwick Street, known later on as the Brennan House.
