Biographical Information

Born at Plattekill, NY, March 11, 1781. Of Huguenot descent, he was a minister for seventy two years. He officiated in Dutch and English. Studied under Dr. Froeligh while at Union College. Licensed by Classis of Paramus, 1800. Coxsackie, 1801-1810. Catskill (or Leeds), 1810-1812. Caatsban, 1812-1862. Also pastor at Saugerties village, 1839-1840 and Stated Supply at Hurley, 1811-1814. Died, November 22, 1872.
