Biographical Information
John Lansing Zabriskie was born in Albany on March 4, 1779. After his graduation from Union College in 1797, he studied theology under Rev. Romeyn, pastor of the First Reformed Church in Schenectady. Mr. Zabriskie was licensed by the classis of Albany. He served as pastor at Greenbush and Wynant's Kill, 1801-1811; and at Millstone, 1811-1850. He was elected as a trustee of Queens College. Died August 15, 1850.
