Printmaking

I have much admiration and respect for the students in my Etching course and in my Drawing 1 course this spring term. They met me each class with focus, energy and creative drive. They overcame challenging odds in terms of materials and work space. They agreed to think outside the box in how they were making images. They shared their findings and experience with each other. Because of it they made interesting pieces and everyone, including myself, learned new ways of doing things. This is the silver lining to a very challenging set of parameters.
