Biographical Information

James R. Boyd was born on May 2, 1804. He was a Home Missionary in Brownsville, NY until his health failed. Boyd then studied under Dr. Chalmers in Edinburgh and then became the Pastor of the second Presbyterian Church at Watertown, N.Y. He died at Geneva, N.Y., on February 19, 1890.
