Biographical Information

A Representative from New York; born in Albany, N. Y.; moved to Schenectady where he completed preparatory studies; member of the State Assembly in 1816 and 1817; elected to the Sixteenth Congress (March 4, 1819-March 5, 1821). Died Schenectady September 27, 1858.
