Biographical Information

Born in Rotterdam, New York, November 17, 1777. Studied under Rev. Dr. Dirck Romeyn and Solomon Foreligh while at Union College. Graduated from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, Class of 1801. Served as pastor of the Gallatin Church (later known as the Vedder Church) in Columbia County, New York, from 1803 until 1864. Died June 29, 1873.
